Nottingham City Council and local partners are evaluating the impact that the REMOURBAN project has had on the city and in particular on the demonstration area Sneinton. An online survey has been developed to gather feedback.
Please take five minutes to complete the survey.
This project has provided over £5m of external funding to make 400 homes in Sneinton significantly more energy efficient, leading to cheaper household bills and a raft of low carbon transport options to help improve local air quality. The project aims to be replicated across European cities.
Local inventions have included
- Electric charging infrastructure for 13 green buses
- Electric car hire available from Manvers Street Car Park
- Low carbon delivery service from local courier WEGO
- Retrofitting older housing with energy efficiency measures
A survey has been developed to capture feedback from residents, responses will be used to help Nottingham City Homes and partners to shape future projects for Sneinton and the city.
