Nottingham City Council and local partners are evaluating the impact that the REMOURBAN project has had on the city and in particular on the demonstration area Sneinton. An online survey has been developed to gather feedback.

Nottingham City Homes have been awarded The Sustainable Homes Retrofit Project of the Year (under 50 properties) for their REMOURBAN funded Energiesprong pilot to create ultra-low energy homes and declared a gold standard sustainable landlord. 

The REMOURBAN project in Nottingham, reaches an important milestone as it launches the first electric car hire offer through its Enterprise Car Club scheme in Sneinton.

REMOURBAN’s Energiesprong pilot has been cited as a best practice case study in a new report from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Nottingham Trent University. The report states that the UK cannot build its way to a low-carbon future without retrofitting the UK’s old, cold homes to meet 2050 climate targets.

William Booth Primary School's year 6 took part in the REMOURBAN #SmartCity workshop. Representatives from Nottingham City Council worked with Mr McEnaney’s class to increase their awareness and knowledge of terms such as – smart city, sustainability, regeneration and climate change.
